  • Standard M2 HSS Model: Made of industrial-grade W6Mo5Cr4V2 high speed steel, with overall quenching and tempering treatment, reaching a hardness of HRC 63-66.   • Upgraded M35 Cobalt HSS Model: Added 5% cobalt to the HSS matrix, with an enhanced hardness of HRC 66-68. It has significantly improved red hardness, maintaining sharp cutting edges even under high-temperature continuous cutting conditions. It is specially designed for drilling medium and high hardness materials like stainless steel (304/316), alloy steel, quenched and tempered steel, with a service life 2x longer than ordinary M2 HSS drill bits.
  • Resharpenable & Cost-Effective: Unlike tungsten carbide tipped drill bits, HSS annular cutters have excellent resharpenability. The cutting edges can be re-ground multiple times after wear, greatly reducing long-term operating costs, especially for small and medium batch processing and routine maintenance work.

Warm Tips for Use


  1. Please select the drill bit with corresponding material, diameter and cutting depth according to your processing material and drilling requirements: M2 HSS model is preferred for regular steel, and M35 cobalt HSS model is recommended for medium and high hardness materials such as stainless steel and alloy steel.
  2. During drilling operation, please use professional metal cutting fluid/cooling lubricant, which can effectively reduce cutting temperature, extend the service life of the drill bit, and further improve the hole quality.
